Four foreigners and a driver seized at refugee camp by Somalian border
Gunmen kidnapped four foreigners and a driver working for the Norwegian Refugee Council at Kenya's Dadaab refugee camp near the border with Somalia on Friday, police said.
Kenyan police said they suspected the gunmen to be sympathisers of Somalia's al-Qaida-linked insurgents.
"So far we have not confirmed the nationalities of the four foreign workers who were kidnapped," said Philip Ndolo, the region's deputy police officer.
"We suspect this could be the work of al-Shabaab sympathisers."
